It was really great to meet you last week and share stories. The sessions were really inspiring and the powerpoints to do with the writing process, particularly on editing and publishing were
extremely informative. As I tentatively dip my toes into the pool of writing pofessionally (well at university anyway) I am thankful to you for providing an excelletn course showing me exactly what
I'm getting myself into.
Thanks again,
Ben

Hi Benjamin
Hope all is well. Noticed that you are tutoring at Swanwick again. I am away again-this time with the whole family to celebrate our Ruby Wedding.
Sorry, didn't introduce myself. 'My brain is like a butterfly.' I was on your Michaelmas 2012 YA course at Oxford. My protagonists Connor and Elizabeth, from Belfast, have been sleeping but I think
it is time to wake them up. At long last I am taking your advice and looking to get my brain/emotions sorted! All the best for Swanwick.

Hi Benjamin
It was the YA online course in 2012 that I took with you as tutor that saw the beginning of a young protagonist called Fabian. In my assignment you said you hoped Fabian gets to complete his journey.
Just wanted you to know he has. At last. Thanks for the encouragement back then. Sending off a 107,000 word manuscript tomorrow. What a ride!

Hi Benjanim...Hope this year went well for you. Venturing to Oxford at the end of the month for the 'novel' course. I've been working on "Olivia" and would love to really bring this project full
circle.

Thanks Mary! It's been a really great term on the YAF course. Best wishes, Benjamin

Hi Karen, thanks for the praise! It's lovely to hear that the handouts are helpful and understandable even if you've not done the course. Good fortune with your writing! Benjamin

I'm not writing for children or YA, so didn't attend your classes at Swanwick, but really wish I had. The downloads are the most useful tools a beginner writer can find anywhere or in any self-help
book out there. Straight to the point with no waffle. Thanks, Benjamin!

Huge thanks for your wonderful tutoring on the Oxford online YAF course - life will never be the same again...
I promise you won't be bombarded with e-mails, justĀ an occasional note from me about what I'm up to, when you can catch me teaching or when I've got a book coming out. Sign up now for my
